Born on 14th July, 1968, Hon. (Rotn.) Aruna Isola Ogunsola obtained his O’level West African School Certificate from Egbado Technical Institute, Ibooro in 1986.
He got admission into Ogun State College of Education(Now TASUED), Ijebu Ode in 1987, graduating with NCE, Mathematics/Chemistry in 1990.
He joined the Lagos State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission as a Teacher in November 1991.
In 1999, he got admission through direct entry into University of Lagos to study Mathematics Education, graduating with B.Sc(Ed) double honors in 2002.
After two failed attempts, he retired voluntarily from the teaching service and was eventually elected Councillor representing Ward B(002), {Dopemu/Onipetesi Ward} in Agege Local Government in March 2004 on the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD). He later became the Council Leader(No 1 Lawmaker) from January 2005 to March 2007.
Between 2008 and 2011, Hon.(Rotn.) Aruna Isola Ogunsola was appointed into the Local Government Executive Cabinet as Supervisor for Environment & Waste Management by the then Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Jubreel AbdulKareem. He was re-appointed to serve in the same capacity from 2011 to 2014.
He served as the Senior Special Assistant on Education to the Rt. Hon.(Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly between Feb. 2020 and May 2023. He is also a Member, Lagos State Ad-Hoc Committee on the Operations of Commercial Road Transport Workers Activities Within Garages and Motor Parks.
He is a Past President and have been a member of Rotary Club of Gbagada since 2013.
Hon.(Rotarian) Aruna Isola Ogunsola is the CEO of Master Multi Ventures, a Printing,
Publishing, Training and General Merchandise business outfit registered with CAC since 1997.
He is a founding and staunch member of the then Alliance for Democracy (AD) since 1998 and has remained in the Progressives party till it transformed into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and he has served the parties in several capacities since inception.
As one of the founding members of Agege Club of Nigeria, he has served the club in the capacity of Social Secretary and currently Secretary, Board of Trustees of the Club.
He is happily married with children.
