Alh. Hassan Kehinde Subair

Born on Thursday August 22nd 1951 at 16, Orimogunje Lane Ereko, Lagos Island by Alhaji Muhammed and Alhaja Ashiawu Aweni Subair. His parents were from Ereko in Lagos Island Local Government Area. He attended Ansar-ud-Deen Primary School Alakoro Marina Lagos from 1958 to 1965. He moved to Jubril Martins Ahmadiyya Memorial Grammar School, Abule-nla Iponri from 1966 to 1970 where he completed his secondary education. From 1971 to 1976, he worked with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Marina Lagos as a Clerical Officer.


As a young man who was interested in furthering his education, he secured an admissions at Morris Brown College Atlant, Georgia, United States of America from 1976 to 1980 where he was graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics. He further gained admissions into Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville Alabama, United States of America for his Graduate Studies where he earned a masters degree in General Studies 1980 – 1982. He returned to Lagos Nigeria in 1983.


And joined Pacific Farms Ltd. Ilupeju from 1986 to 1998 where he rose to the position of General Manager in charge of Pacific Gas Ltd. at Oregun. He left to participate in the Lagos State Government (PSP) waste collection and disposal from 1999 to 2005 with Hassan Subair Enterprises. From 2005 to 2011, he joined the state judiciary service and was a member of Coker Aguda LCDA Customary Court, Surulere Lagos.


From 2012 to 2015, he was appointed Chairman Revenue Mobilization Committee Agege Local Government Council. Alhaji Hassan Kehinde Subair is a founding member of All Progressive Congress Agege Chapter. He is popularly known as Kesco (Ayami o ja) in Agege Political Circle. Joined Ansaru-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria Agege Branch in year 2001 till date. He was Agege branch secretary. He also served in the state council committee namely, education, Ramadan, Investment, publicity and Welfare Committee.


Also the secretary of this turbanning / award ceremony. Alhaji Subair is a member who is always willing to accept additional responsibilities from the branch anytime. He was Chairman of the committee that led to the establishment of Oko-Oba Branch in 2004. Alhaji Hassan Subair is constantly absorbed in the branch executive committee from 2001 till date because he is useful, resourceful and productive.


He is the current chairman of Olohunsogo Mosque, Shiaba Darocha Agege. He is the general secretary of Agege Club of Nigeria from 2014 to December 2022, he is the current treasurer of Agege Club of Nigeria. And a member of Board of Trustees of Agege Club of Nigeria.


Alhaji Hassan Subair is a moderate Moslem and observe his salat regularly. He believes in Allah and the Holy Prophet Muhammed and uphold the tenants of Islam very firmly. Conferred with Ansaru-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, State Merit Award on Sat 28th January, 2023 at the University of Lagos Multipurpose Hall Akoka Yaba. He is happily married to Alhaja Ramiat Ayinke Subair. And the marriage is blessed with four good children.
